| I am Shiloah (shy-low-ah) Baker, Founder, owner, author and editor of The Homemaking Cottage. I am a 29 year old homemaker, CEO of the Baker Household, teacher and mentor at home to my children. I am LDS- or a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I currently live in North Carolina.
I am married to a wonderful man- Ben Baker. He is an awesome husband and father and he helps me so much with all the household duties. Together we have seven darling children. Our children are: Cailynn-11, Charisa-9, Benjamin-8, Makenzie-5, Madison 3, Meredith-1, and new little Lindsay is 8 weeks.
I have a lot of hobbies which include: webdesign, writing, crafts, paper crafts, scrapbooking, baking, homemaking, cross-stitch, sewing, quilting, reading, entertaining, toll-paint and crafting all sorts of things. I read, read, read! I am constantly wanting to learn new things and I love books that teach me skills and how to be a better person. I scrapbook almost every weekend- its a wonderful way for me to relief stress. I love to decorate my home and learn as many new homemaking skills as I can.
